Eva Barrows, Editor in Chief
Eva Barrows founded Imitation Fruit Literary Journal in 2007 to foster an uplifting online literary experience. She is thankful for the participation of talented artists and writers sharing their work via Imitation Fruit. Eva has a BA in Creative Writing from SFSU and is a San Francisco Bay Area freelance writer. She writes about local places, people and events on her website www.evabarrows.com.

Jenny Tressler, Assistant Editor
Jenny Tressler earned her psychology degree from San Francisco State University before graduating with a teaching credential and graduate units in Curriculum from Cal State East Bay. She is currently enrolled in the Breaking Into Print Program with the Institute For Writers. A practicing educator and writer, Mrs. Tressler specializes in English test item development and is continually seeking opportunities for advancement in academics. Aside from her work, she enjoys reading, music, and spending time with her husband and collie mix in Hayward, California.

Eireene Nealand, Assistant Editor
Eireene Nealand was one of the early editors for Tarpaulin Sky and has also worked as an Editorial Assistant for Catamaran. Her translations have appeared in Poetry International, Drunken Boat, Catamaran, Absent, and The St. Petersburg Review, among other places. Recently, she was a Fulbright Fellow in Sofia, Bulgaria, where she taught creative writing and worked with the Elizabeth Kostova Foundation. She now lives in Moss Beach, California, where she is continuing to translate Russian, French, and Bulgarian prose and poetry.

John Barrows, Illustrator and Art Advisor
John Barrows is the art advisor for Imitation Fruit. His colorful drawings add to the journal's fun aesthetic. John has a BFA in illustration from San Francisco Academy of Art College. He worked in game graphics for many years, studied under a master artist in Italy and is a member of the Society of Western Artists. See more of John's artwork on his website www.barrowsart.com.
