Cary W. Tucker
developed a passion for social dance in 1999. It is a hobby that turned
out to be synergistic with writing poetry, with many Muses arising
among the ladies he met out dancing. “I Make the
Gowns” was prompted by several women he knows who like to
frequent costumed dances such as the Gaskell Ball and who have proven
to be not only fine dancers but also exquisite dressmakers.
