Andrea Potyondy-Smith is a full time English Instructor in the Minneapolis Metropolitan area. She graduated in 2001 with an MFA in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has been published in various journals over the past 10 years. Her writing draws from myriad places: "found" poems, nature, observations of "life, the universe, and everything." Everything is a poem--traditional or prose--waiting to be exposed; they are lurking in unexpected, dark places hoping for someone to bring them to light.
