Elkin is a poet, memoirist, and fiction writer whose work appears in such publications as Empirical, Kansas City Voices, and Kestrel, and won awards with Poetry Matters, The New Hampshire Poetry Society, and The Maryland Writers' Association. Diana Blackwell is a self-taught artist in Berkeley, California. She works in charcoal, acrylics, collage, block printing, and monoprinting. She belongs to the East Bay Figure Painters.
