
Marian Brown St. Onge retired in May 2006 from her position of founding Director of the Boston College Center for International Partnerships and Programs (CIPP), a post in which she coordinated international activities university-wide with special attention to more than eighty institutional partnerships around the world. St. Onge received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in French Literature from Boston College where, before becoming CIPP Director, she taught French and travel literature and directed BC's Women's Studies Program. A former President of the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association, St. Onge has been the recipient of several fellowships and awards. In spring, 2006, she served as Michael Dukakis Visiting Professor in International Affairs at the American College of Thessaloniki, Greece. St. Onge has published travelers' guides, articles on twentieth-century women writers, cultural issues and topics in international education. Beyond her poems-more than 20 published thus far-she is working on a biography of a French World War II Resistance leader and poet, for which she received a Norman Mailer fellowship award in summer 2009.
Fabio Sassi has had several experiences in music, photography and writing. He has been a visual artist since 1990 making acrylics using the stenciling technique on canvas, board, old vinyl records and other media. He uses logos, icons, tiny objects, discarded stuff and shades. He often puts a quirky twist to his subjects to give them an unusual perspective. Fabio lives in Bologna, Italy.
