
Bob Schildgen was the managing editor and book review editor of the Sierra Club's Sierra magazine for many years, and continues to write Sierra's popular "Hey Mr. Green" environmental advice column. A native of rural Wisconsin, he grew up on a farm there. Bob now resides in Berkeley, California, where he indulges his passions for gardening and thrift by growing two dozen types of vegetables in his backyard.
Liz Aragon is a pop-surrealist artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. She uses cartoonish and psychedelic imagery to explore themes such as the nature of reality, esoteric spirituality, dreams, the subconscious, introspection, isolation, and dissociation.
