Although Jenny Tressler's professional focus is tutoring and academic writing, she enjoys crafting short fiction pieces centered around moral dilemmas and relationship challenges. She considers her best stories inspired by personal incidents and often writes as a form of catharsis and meditation. Her training is in psychology, education, and writing, and she lives with her husband Brian and spirited collie mix, Goldy, in the San Francisco Bay Area where she was raised.
Artist Fleur Spolidor plays with oils, acrylics, collage, printmaking, stained glass, digital painting, and beeswax always digging deeper to unearth secrets within the materials. "My friends tell me, and they're probably right, that I have a talent for techniques. I love learning new ones, play with materials and tools. It's fun to get your hands dirty, like a kid who never gets in trouble. I see my work as a constant research and improvement."
Fleur had her art on display at the Triton Museum in Santa Clara and at Studio Gallery in San Francisco in 2017. She also works with WonderlandSF in San Francisco, Golden Moon Gallery in San Mateo and artfinder.com. She teaches art classes in French for adults and children at her studio located at the Art Center of Redwood City and San Carlos. Find more of her artwork at artefleur.com.
