Maril Crabtree grew up in Memphis and New Orleans but calls the Midwest home. Her poetry, short stories, and essays have appeared in numerous journals, including The DMQ Review, Literary Mama, Main Street Rag, Canyon Voices, Third Wednesday, and Poet's Market. Natasha Phillips is a graduate of the California College of the Arts with a BFA in Illustration. She works in various mediums ranging from charcoal and pastel, pen and ink, as well as acrylic and watercolor. She has exhibited various illustrations at local art fairs. She is interested in both the exploration and emotional experiences of human and animal subjects and often blends in aspects of the imaginary with a hint of nostalgia. She is a San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula native and is thrilled to publish with Imitation Fruit.
