Moriah stays receptive to the possibilities inherent in photographing each scene. She happened upon the idea of photographing food coloring in a pan of water after noticing how well a certain brand sank to the bottom and slowly dispersed. Initially, she planned to photograph something quite different. Whether taking pictures, writing a story or poem, she strives after a pre-conceived idea only until a more interesting option reveals itself.
