Henrietta Bensussen is retiring to a small, eclectic town on California's north coast with her partner, after years in the corporate world of higher education. She now concentrates addictively, on writing and gardening. A Palpitating Heart, is the result of a recent visit to the Big Sur coast. Gertrude Stein is one of Henrietta's favorite authors.
The people SN Jacobson most likes to work with not only see themselves as the stars in some elaborate movie but are hearing the sound track as well. His ideal is to take that self-image (however bizarre or unusual) and become cameraman, producer and director. He works with his subject to produce a plausible image that satisfies them both, trying not to destroy any of that fantasy. See more of SN Jacobson's work at www.snjacobson.com
