Emily Andrade is a petite woman of Hispanic origin who enjoys writing, reading and short walks in the forest with her Miniature Schnauzer, Vincent, and husband, Jeremie. An English Instructor at the prestigious Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis, Indiana by day and a Roller Derby volunteer when called upon-in other words, nightly. She holds a Masters in Creative Writing from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and a love for Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Milan Kundera. Her publications and awards include: winner of the 3rd grade short story writing contest for Sprague Elementary, 8th and 9th grade publications in the Clay Junior High Writer, and graduate school thesis short story collection. In writing she gravitates toward fiction of a supernatural or humorous nature. She believes every day is a new supernatural and fantastical experience.
