Rick Marlatt teaches English in Nebraska, and he is currently pursuing a MFA in Creative Writing from the University of California Riverside at Palm Desert. Marlatt's most recent publications include New York Quarterly, The Pedestal Magazine, and Plain Songs Review. Marlatt performs as an actor, poet, and writer, most recently, winning the University of Nebraska Sigma Tau Delta Short Fiction Slam.
Laura LoTurco-Gorian is seduced by texture, form and structure, and is inspired by the way that light creates ever changing shadows illuminating intricate details. She received her BFA and MFA from The School of Visual Arts in NYC and her career in the arts has spanned over twenty-four years. Recently she relocated from New York to New Mexico. She has illustrated three children's books. Her work has been exhibited in New York, New Jersey and New Mexico.
