Ann Starr has always written, but these days she's more systematic about it, focusing on memoir, and criticism in visual art and contemporary music. Starr draws, paints, and makes artist books. She has written and lectured on the relationship of fine art to medicine. She is proud of her efforts as a mother, and continues to raise herself. Her web site is www.ann-starr.com
