



Patty Somlo has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, most recently in 2010. Her debut collection, From Here to There and Other Stories, was published in November 2010. Her work has appeared in the Los Angeles Review, The Santa Clara Review, The Sand Hill Review, Guernica, Slow Trains, Fringe Magazine, and several anthologies. Her story, "Shrinking" was previously published in Imitation Fruit. Her work appears in the recently released anthology Battle Runes: Stories of War, and is due to be released May 2011 and is also in the Solace in So Many Words collection as well as in Paraspheres 2 later this year.
Laura LoTurco-Gorian is seduced by texture, form and structure, and is inspired by the way that light creates ever changing shadows illuminating intricate details. She received her BFA and MFA from The School of Visual Arts in NYC and her career in the arts has spanned over twenty-four years. Recently she relocated from New York to New Mexico. She has illustrated three children's books. Her work has been exhibited in New York, New Jersey and New Mexico.
