



Spencer Carvalho is twenty-four years old. He has lived in Brazil, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Ohio. He started writing short stories in high school and has had short stories published by the Barcelona Review, keep going, Litter Box Magazine,
Imitation Fruit, and others. This is his second story in Imitation Fruit. This story was previously published by Mused: BellaOnline Literary Review.
Chelsea Walton is an animator and film editor in Emeryville, CA. She has edited several short films and documentaries.
Raised in a farming community in New Providence, Iowa she spent many hours drawing, writing stories, and building snow forts in the winter with her younger brother who is an artist and sculptor. At an early age she learned to draw from her mother, a painter and how to build things from her grandfather a wood worker. Her personal animation and films are inspired by immediate surroundings, nature, everyday situations, technological breakthroughs and breakdowns.
Walton's short films Leftovers (2007), Winter Return (2006), Jack and Middy Retire (2005) Numerical Engagements (2004), Fenceliners (2002) and Bird Watching (1997) have screened internationally, nationally, in museums, alleys, backyards, and driveways. Her film Numerical Engagements is distributed by Future Shorts. She received an MFA in cinema from San Francisco State University and is an Apple Certified Final Cut Pro Trainer. She has taught film and animation classes at San Francisco State University, Bay Area Video Coalition and the Art Studio at UC Berkeley.
