



Risa Nye is a Bay Area native. Her articles and essays have appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle and other local publications. She has essays in several anthologies, including Writin' on Empty: Parents Reveal the Upside, Downside, and Everything in Between When Children Leave the Nest, which she also co-edited. She is currently an MFA student at Saint Mary's College and is also a neophyte blogger at www.zerotosixtyinoneyear.com.
Liz Aragon grew up in the Bay Area and majored in Art at UC Berkeley. Her art is predominantly influenced by Japanese anime and pop surrealism. Themes she often use in her artwork include consciousness and thought, wandering in unfamiliar places in the world or within the mind, solitude, dreams, spirituality, the nature of reality, and the mystery of life.
