Eva Barrows, Editor in Chief
Eva Barrows founded Imitation Fruit Literary Journal in 2007 to foster an uplifting online literary experience. She is thankful for the participation of talented artists and writers sharing their work via Imitation Fruit. Eva has a BA in Creative Writing from SFSU and is a San Francisco Bay Area freelance writer and developmental book editor. Eireene Nealand, Assistant Editor
Eireene's stories, poems, and translations have appeared in ZYZZYVA, Sidebrow, Index on Censorship, The Chicago Quarterly, Catamaran, and The St. Petersburg Review, among other places. She currently lives in El Granada, California, where she is at work on a short story collection based on overheard conversations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

John Barrows, Illustrator and Art Advisor
John Barrows is the art advisor for Imitation Fruit. His colorful drawings add to the journal's fun aesthetic. John has a BFA in illustration from San Francisco Academy of Art College. He worked in game graphics for many years, studied under a master artist in Italy and is a member of the Society of West Coast Artists and has a studio at Art Bias in San Carlos, CA.
