Juliana Dornellas was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She learned how to speak English at the age of 17 and has since developed a passion for writing poetry in English. In 2003, she graduated in English, Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She has lived in California, London and Rio de Janeiro. But her dream city is Barcelona.
